It’s finally October, and autumn reintroduces the chilly breeze, pumpkin spice and most importantly, spooky season. Here’s how students are celebrating Halloween on campus.
BPA: Spooktacular Party
BPA will have a party where paid members can spend time with their friends and enjoy the food provided on Oct. 24 at 2:45 p.m. in Room 131. They will have board games, Halloween arts and crafts supplies and a raffle drawing.
French Honor Society: Halloween Meeting
French Honor Society members will attend a mandatory Halloween meeting on Oct. 25 from 2:50 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in room 118. Members can expect to learn more about their officers, decorate cookies, and play games.
Gay Straight Alliance: Movie Night
GSA members can bring one guest to the library on Oct. 26 from 2:45 p.m. to 5 p.m. to enjoy food and entertainment. The movie is undecided but will be PG-13 and Halloween-themed.
Choir: Spooktober
For $5, anyone can attend the choir social on Oct. 30 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the choir room. Members who have paid their choir fee are exempt from the entrance fee. The event will be a costume party and multiple rooms will host different activities.
HOSA: Spooktacular Blood Drive
Sign up at all lunches for HOSA’s Spooktacular Blood Drive. HOSA will be closing registrations next Friday. The blood drive will be hosted on Oct. 31 all day in the auditorium.
Girl’s Basketball: Trunk or Treat
Attend Trunk or Treat for free on Oct. 31 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Klein Forest Front Parking Lot. Grab some candy from different cars and play games with friends.
As the end of October approaches, students decide what they’ll dress as and the events they’ll attend. Maybe they’ll watch a scary movie, spend some extra time outside with their friends or give something to those in need.
