The 2018 Evergreen yearbook was featured in Balfour’s 2019 Yearbook Yearbook. The Yerabook Yeabook showcases the best designs and photos from yearbooks across the country.

The opening spread, on pages 2-3  was featured for showstopper design; the fall play presentation on pages 10-11 was featured for outstanding spread design; the swimming photo of  Trevian Early on page 28 and the division page photo on pages 70-71 of  Ashley Segovia with Fox 26 reporter taken by Ashley Tran, 2018 yearbook editor and the boys soccer  photo of Grosvin Buezo on page 43, taken by Hugo Perez,  were chosen as outstanding photogrpahy.

“It’s truly an honor to be selected for Yearbook Yearbook,” Sue Blackmon, Evergreen adviser said. “Balfour only chooses about five to ten per cent of the books they publish to be featured.”

Tran, who now attends the University of Texas as Austin felt like working on the yearbook became her life.

“I basically had four periods of this class,” she said. “Yet, it’s never enough time time to finish everything, but seeing the finished product makes it all worth the long afternoons and late nights.”
