Basketball duo Kharee McDaniel and Calvin Solomom, seniors, committed to play at Stephen F. Austin State University.

They both signed Division 1 scholarships to play for the Lumberjacks in the 2019-2020 season.

The SFA basketball program welcomed the two via their Twitter account. “Calvin Solomon and Kharee McDaniel were such a powerful one-two punch for Klein Forest HS this past year the Houston Chronicle named them co-players of the year.”

McDaniel, via his Twitter page, said he couldn’t have done it without his parents.

“Thanks for investing the time, money and energy to get me where I am today. All the early morning workouts and weight training is paying off; love you guys always.”
